How about adding an option to mark any song as "the last song for tonight" or something like that, so after that song is over, the app automatically shuts down or just stops playing.

This may be convenient and useful for users that want to go to sleep with Spotify playing in the background, as they could choose at what point they want Spotify to stop playing, and just fall asleep with music in the background without having to actively stop the app, and without having to create a specific playlist that would end after a certain number of songs.

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community!

We moved your post from Ideas to the help boards to let you know that a Sleep Timer feature is already available for Premium users on Android and iOS devices. 

With this feature, you can automatically stop content from playing anywhere between 5 minutes to an hour or when the current track finishes. You should be able to find and activate the timer by tapping the three-dot menu in the Now Playing view and choosing the desired amount of time. Then, a little notification should show up confirming that the timer is set.

If you'd like to see a longer Sleep Timer, we'd recommend adding your +VOTE to this idea. Spotify will check it out if it reaches the necessary amount of votes, so it's Status doesn't mean it won't be implemented.
