My Question or Issue

Hello,

I'm encountering issues with the Spotify shuffle mode on my android device.

Everytime I play back an artists (20+ Albums) it's playing the same songs.

Shuffle seems to select always the same songs from the same albums

This is different to playing the same artist on Spotify Windows Desktop app in shuffle mode.

Here it behaves different as it plays songs from every album in shuffle mode.

Why is this and how can I resolve this issue on my Android device?

Let us know if you observe the same issue with Shuffle Play after running a clean reinstall on your mobile device. We suggest this step since it'll refresh your Spotify account data and get you the latest app version with all necessary updates. 

If this persists after the clean reinstall, try disabling any power saving or data cleaning settings on your mobile device. Alternatively, you can try authorizing Spotify to run without restrictions despite the mentioned settings being enabled. Make sure you try this since such features can often prevent the app from operating at full capacity.
