Android app doesn't have same featues as ios

There are features missing from the Android app, some really important differences that make ios a lot more appealing. On my iPad, I can individually choose songs without premium but on my phone, that option isn't there. Shuffle is permanently enabled unless I buy premium. The Spotify development team seems to be favoring one platform over the other. Is this functionallity coming or is this an ios only feature?
