Android pauses spotify upon bluetooth connection

My Question or Issue

Hey guys,

I just moved from iPhone to Android (Samsung S10+) and whenever I connect to my bluetooth speaker the Spotify music pauses and I'd have to click play again. 

Is there a way to fix this? I've checked and bluetooth/spotify are not optimized in the battery settings.

Hey @user-removed thanks for reaching out to the community.

Whenever a bluetooth device, wired audio device, ext. Any music or audio that is playing eill automatically stop, it is just a feature in Android that is unchangeable.

That's unfortunate to hear about Android's behavior, but then there's nothing that can be done about it for now 🙂
