App always stops working mid song

For the past few months, my app completely breaks down out of nowhere. It usually (but not always) happens during the first song. I am unable to change or pause the song, and nothing shows up on the interface, just the loading wheel for every screen. It usually takes 1-5 minutes to regain control of the app, although it sometimes happens again after working for a while. Phone storage is not an issue at all, and I have not had any problems remotely similar with other apps. Does anyone know of a possible solution for this?
