Android's app beta version 9.0.48 crashing

We've received reports about the latest beta version 9.0.48 being unstable. The app may crash when opening Your Library, and playlists, albums and artist pages won’t load: an error message “something went wrong” is shown. It’s as if Spotify is offline, despite having perfect internet connection.

Hi folks,

Thanks for your patience while we investigate this issue.

We're happy to announce that this should now be fixed for everyone - just make sure you're running the latest version of Spotify.

Cheers 🤘

I hope your devs do their job quickly. It's the second day in a row without being able to listen to any kind of music. Only podcasts are working.

you are great in making the app worse and raising the monthly fee.

I'm from Finland, the device is Android OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite, Oxygen OS 15.0, Spotify Premium v. 9.0.48.268. Every time I try to play a playlist or an album, I get the message "Something is wrong". Deleting the cache or reinstalling the app don't help. Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Temporary solution for now, add playlist to library with plus in search results then hold on the playlist in your library and select start a jam to add the playlist to your queue. You can end jam afterwards and whole playlist will be in queue.

Heli_Dark

My solution was to open any song in the app through the search, and control playlist playback through the browser.

The update in the play store didn't solve the problem. But the hint from @NathanMoore is a good working solution since we finally will get a fix. I'm on android 14 with Spotify beta 9.0.48.268.

I had the same issue since yesterday. It's a bit weird it's not only beta version the current Production version also has the same error. I am from India. It sometimes shows me you can only use 14days in other country in spite of me being in India and it has been showing this issue since past couple of days.
