My Question or Issue

I use the preinstalled audio equalizer (AudioFX) for my phone audio when playing music over my Bluetooth earphones. This works well for YouTube, Google Play Music and other apps. When I play music from Spotify, it works well for a couple of minutes, but then suddenly stops working. The music keeps on playing, but it sounds like the equalizer settings are turned off. (They are not actually turned off)

I can workaround this issue by closing Spotify from the app switcher and then opening it again.

What I think is that it has something to do with loading from cache. (Not sure though) When I listen to music from my phone in the living room (with a pretty strong Wi-Fi signal) everything works great most of the time. When I'm in my bedroom (other side of the house, weak Wi-Fi signal) this problem occurs. When I use LTE, it almost never happens. It also appears often when I quickly skip songs.

Is there anyone who knows how to fix this/has the same problem? Thanks in advance!
