Bluetooth connection in Volvo V60 is not working correct

I have a Volvo V60 and I connect my Xperia Z2 by bluetooth.

As long as I change track with the phone the artist, album, song etc is transmitted to the car LCD display just fine.

But when I use the controller on the steering wheel the info is still the same as what it was just before I changed track.

So it seems that the Spotify app can't send the info when it is controlled via Bluetooth.

That's odd.. it works fine on my BMW.

Does the track change OK? Can you confirm if the Spotify app is in the foreground (visible) on your phone when you are changing tracks or is the app in the background (for example if using a navigation system) or the screen off?

It's the same thing whether the app is running in the background, screen off or open in the screen of the phone.

The track chnges fine, it's just the info that is not transmitted.
