[Bug] Black bars reformatting screen

My Question or Issue

 Hi, 

I use an app that removes my navigation soft keys at the bottom to give extra screen real estate, but Spotify doesn't fill in the space like any other app does. It's just a black bar at the bottom of my screen. 

I'm ready to switch over, and this is what's holding me back!
