Calls and Bluetooth

I talk on Facebook messenger voice calls almost all day. I am trying to get Spotify to play music through a Bluetooth speaker while the call stays on my phone speaker. Is this possible? Android 7

Have you tried adjusting the bluetooth settings for your speaker? Disabling Call audio and just leaving Media Audio enabled should do this.

Yeah, it only has a media audio option. The ring will go through the Bluetooth, but if the call is answered it goes back to the handset. Putting my music and my call on speakerphone just makes to much background on the call so I end up turning Spotify off instead.
