Can't add albums to library

I have always highlighted the heart button to add an album to my library. Now, highlighting the heart does nothing and the heart becomes unhighlighted when I navigate away from the album then go back to it.

Ayyyeeeee, so It's possible that the behavior of the heart button has changed in the latest version of the Spotify app. Instead of the heart button, you can now use the "+" button to add albums to your library.

To add an album to your library, follow these steps:

1. Open the Spotify app and find the album you want to add.
2. Tap the album to open it.
3. Tap the "+" button located next to the album title.
4. The album will now be added to your library.

If you still experience issues with adding an album to your library, try logging out and back into your Spotify account or reinstalling the app. If the issue persists, you can contact Spotify support for further assistance.

I resolved the problem by completing a HARD reinstall.   No changes or updates to the app caused the issue.  After the hard reinstall the app behaved exactly as before.
