Can't open context menu because I'm "offline"

Every time I try to queue songs spotify claims that I am offline and can therefore not open the context menu, which, in itself is completely absurd, why not? However, even if this was an actual feature, I am obviously not offline since the song I am listening to is not available offline.

Update: Ok, so this seems to be isolated to offline songs. The context menu for online only songs opens immediately while offline'd songs refuse, claiming no internet connection.

Forgot: Spotify 8.4.1.846 armV7 on Android Marshmallow 6.0, LG G3 with 32GB internal + 32GB external adopted storage (with spotify using about 16GB on the adopted storage)

This is peak stupid. I can't add a song to a playlist if I don't have internet?
