Cannot see notifications on lock screen

I don't know if this is related to the app or just the way phones are programed but here's my issue: whenever Spotify is playing I can't see any other notifications on the lock screen (for exemple messages) because Spotify's played music tab shows first and doesn't let other notifications show up.
I'll appreciate any suggestions if you guys now how to make it so that other notifications aren't hidden on lock screen.

Thanks for reaching out. When did you first encounter this issue? Could you possibly login with your account on another Android device and see if the issue persists? Some screenshots would greatly help us investigate this.
