Cannot start spotify-app on Samsung Galaxy mini - help needed!

Hello,

just bought a Samsung Galaxy mini for the sake of being able to listen to spotify when I´m at the gym. I downloaded the spotify app (premium member), tried to start it - nothing happens. When I check the task manager I can see that spotify is running on the phone, but nomatter what I do, I can´t even log in.

So I uninstalled the app. downloaded it again, tried starting it again, with nothing happening at all. The app is there but I won´t even get to the log-in stage. Does anyone else had this problem? The phone is brand new and I´m totally lost. HELP!
