Car Mode Not Turning on Autimatically When Connected to Echo Auto 2

My Question or Issue

I recently got an Echo Auto 2 so I can play music in my car via bluetooth. I installed it today and immediately found that Spotify would not automatically switch to Car Mode when my phone connected to the new device. I have it set to switch automatically and have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Spotify app, as well as cleared the cache, and nothing has resolved the issue.

I had the original Echo Auto and never had this problem. Other apps on my phone do recognize the Echo Auto 2 and switch to car mode, just not Spotify (the only app I actually use in the car).
