Car mutes when pausing tracks

Hello all

I have Spotify Premium on my Android device, and I am driving on Seat Ibiza 2016 model.

My phone connected to the car integrated audio system using Bluetooth.

Every time when i'm pausing the track being played, to hear something else (e.g. Whatsapp voice messages), Spotify somehow mutes the car audio.

If i'm trying to disable the car mute, Spotify resume playing which does not allow me hear anything else because the volume of Spotify is higher.

What can I do??

Same exact issue here. Running Android 8.0 and connecting to a 2014 Subaru Forester. No one has a fix?
