My Question or Issue

Changing song on Artist Page doesn't highlight correct song (actually doesn't change at all)

1. Go on an Artist Page

2. Tap song, this step will still work fine, the song gets played, the song gets highlight

3. Tap on the current playing song on the bottom bar

4. Tap back (or tap upper left corner button to close the overlay)

5. Tap any song, now the highlight won't change to whichever song selected

This will continue to happen until the page is refreshed.

Thanks for reaching out and bringing this to our attention.

 

We haven't received any other reports of this issue, so it might be the case that some of the apps files have gotten corrupted and are causing this behavior. We recommend that you perform a clean reinstall using the steps in this Support Article. This way all necessary files get compiled anew.

 

If that doesn't fix things, could you let us know if you can replicate the issue on another device or using a friend or family members account? We'd appreciate it if you also let us know which version of Spotify you're running.
