Changing storage location

My Question or Issue

So been trying to change the storage location on my sons phone to sd card as he has very little internal memory. But no help article I've seen so far has helped. There is no option to change storage in the settings (there is on my phone) and although I've allowed all permissions, restarted the phone, reinstalled the app and logged him out and in again nothing has changed except now all his downloaded music is gone from the app (despite being manually shifted to sd card). Sd card is portable. How can I get the app to recognise it??

Can you check these steps and make sure that there is enough space on the SD card? You can also format the card as external storage and check it for errors.
