Chromecast implementation is buggy

My Question or Issue

 I constantly have to reboot my phone in order to see my chromecast devices. They show up without problems in Google Home, YouTube apps and others but Spotify is very unstable when listing available devices. Also it often fails to establish the connection with the device once it is selected. This is true for both Chromecast g1, g2 and Chromecast Audio devices.
