Connection Problems with HTC M8 One

I subscribed to Spotify yesterday, everything was working great - it was working on my lap top and mobile phone. Now, all of sudden it won't let me log on to my mobile phone.

The phone is a HTC - M8 One. I have tried uninstalling the app & re-installing it from Google Play, re-starting phone as per instructions but still does not work.

Any ideas please guys? Many thanks in anticipation.
