My Question or Issue

Android auto controls for Spotify stopped working, Spotify doesn't start automatically anymore also, stearing wheel buttons doesn't work anymore.

Thanks for getting in touch about this and welcome to the Community! 

 

First up, we suggest that you try clearing the cache for both Spotify and Android Auto. You just need to go to Settings > Apps > Spotify > Storage > Clear cache. Then, do the same for Android Auto. 

 

On another note, we'd recommend checking if all permissions are enabled for Spotify under Settings > Apps > Spotify > Permissions

 

If the aforementioned steps don't do the trick, we suggest that you try re-pairing your phone and the car system. You can do this by deleting the car's Bluetooth connection from your phone and remove the phone from the car's list. Then, reconnect both to see if it works.
