I have to confirm this - another annoying bug. Don't you guys test updates before releasing them to the public?

hello?  have you used this app before?

Yes, I know: Every update introduces a new bug. At least this one doesn't affect the playback of tracks....

It looks like this is a known issue and will be looked at, at some point. It's not very game breaking though, so expect it to stay on the backburner.

well, that's interesting.  considering that high-priority, "game breaking" bugs never get fixed, what does "stay on the back burner" mean? -- that it will take even longer to never get fixed?  my head hurts.

there is so much low-hanging fruit like this that could be fixed over a lunch break.  what the **bleep** are your developers doing?  besides adding esoteric features that no one wants that don't work right anyhow?

I have to agree. There seems to be no Development life cycle (dev -> testing - > dev etc). I have noticed in the job section on the spotify website they are hiring a fair few testers.

I don't know why Spotify seem to spend a lot of their time creating APIs for others to develop their own apps yet they can't even develop their own.

It all boils down to poor management.
