My Question or Issue

So, when i open Spotify on Android 12 in my case, I get a bottom banner of No Internet Connection Available, but still songs do plays and can search for a specific song. Lyrics are not displayed. And as i mentioned its only on Spotify Android, on my macOS 12.3.1 Monterey, it works perfectly fine, similarly on an iOS device. So what reason can it possibly be? I need to use VPN in order to get full Spotify premium features on an Android. And the Android is non-rooted so....

Hey there @ApurvZ,

Thanks for the post.

In this case it's best to reach out to your mobile provider about this. Sometimes they block certain networking channels which can cause this issue with the mobile version of Spotify. You can ask them to remove such blocks.

Another possibility is that the app on your phone has some corrupted cache files. It's always a good move to run a clean reinstall of the app. Please follow this guide throughout.

We don't recommend using VPN with the Spotify app.

Let us know how this goes.

Hey there!

I'm also facing exact same issue.

I reached out to the support and they keep looping me over deleting the app cache, reinstalling the app, try from different device etc. Now it is evident that it is not the ISP who is the culprit, since I'm from a different ISP provider and I also have the same issue.

OP,

Until the issue is resolved, do not log out from the app. If you do, you won't be able to login from the app.

Hey @rahulraj90,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community.

To keep investigating your case, would you mind sending us the make, model and OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running?

Also, It would be great if you can have someone log in with their account on your device - such as a friend or a family member to see if the issue persists. This will give us a better look at your issue to help you further.

We'll be on the lookout.
