Don't reduce iPhone ringer/message volume

When I reduce volume of music on Spotify app on iPhone the volume of ringer and message tones is also reduced. So I miss important calls. It is especially annoying when I forget and leave the app running in the background.
An option to leave ring and message alerts volume alone it really important.

It is really easy to forget when I am using Spotify connect and turn the volume down on my speakers.
