Downloaded tracks wont delete

So spotify filled my phones memory, i bought an sd card and started removing my songs from the internal storage. I gave up half way through and transfered the songs to the sd card. My phones memory stayed full so i deleted this cache, this deleted the songs on my memory card. I went back into the settings and switched spotifys storage back to my phones internal storage and cleared the cache, this also didnt work and now my internal memorys full and the memory cards empty. Some one please help, my phones an lg g6
