Facebook Error when logging in

I am logged into the Facebook account that my spotify is connected to. The spotify app is still on my facebook app list. When i try to log in it says facebook error. All apps are updated as its a new phone (Huawei p8 lite 2017). Tried all other fixes. When i log in with email address and password it takes me to another account, so my account may have been made with facebook. Its an account I've had for years so i cant remember properly.  Ive been able to log in with Facebook in the past but i couldnt on my last device recently and cannot on this one either.
