Facebook login - Loading screen

Hi,

Im new to spotify premium + spotify in general. Its working fine on my Macbook, but i tried to use it on my Samsung S3 and it keeps spazzing out when i click on log-in using facebook. The loading circle comes up in front of a white screen with a thin facebook banner at the top, then it doesnt load. I tried deleting and re-installing spotify but nothing.

Please help! lol

I bet you are running the newest 4.0.4 droid OS, and the device isn't rooted?
Newest Spotify from the Google Play Store?

You could try to install another version of Spotify (older one).

Has the links to different versions (0.4.12.180 is the best old version)

So first uninstall the spotify you have now. Install the older version, see if it works. If it does, try upgrading it through the Google Play Store.

To be able to install the APK's you need to set your device to allow installation from "unknown sources".

I'm just a normal user who wants to help people out. It's always great to get feedback 🙂 PS. Now that you are running older version, you could try to upgrade it via Google Play Store to the current version and see if stuff still work like a charm. You can always revert back to the older version if it doesn't.

Anyways great that you got stuff working and can again enjoy Spotify 🙂

Recently, Facebook released a new version of their application on Android - Installing that might help resolve this as well.

I had the same problem with my HTC Wildfire S (crappy phone).
The latest Spotify version has a bug for logging in with Facebook where the screen just goes white with a small Facebook logo in the upper left corner.

It is true that getting version 0.4.12.180 works. The only problem is to get that specific version. I found out you can download it (at least for now) via Aptoide market.

SOLUTION:

Install Aptoide from Market
Search the internet on your phone for"Aptoide Spotify version 0.4.12.180"
Install online.
