Hi @Jakejew, thanks for writing!
Do you get any error messages when you try to connect?
Have you checked for updates to your phone's operating system?
Also, please check if there is an update for Spotify, if not, try to reinstall it anyway and let me know if this helps!
Hi,
Sorry, I can only test things when I'm in my car, so that's why the late reply.
No error message, just plays out of my phone instead.
Updated both my phone's OS and Spotify, and deleted and reinstalled, last night, but no luck sadly.
I'm thinking it might be a car or a phone issue rather than a spotify issue
You're probably right, @Jakejew.
It would be great if you could try to make the connection using another device (even if it's from a friend's account) so that we can narrow down the issue.
Meanwhile I'll search for other possible ways to help!
Hi again,
I've managed to get an iPhone connected, and playing Spotify no problem. Seems like it's definitely a car issue then. Looks like I just wait for Fiat to respond now.
Thanks for your help anyway,
Jake
Ok @Jakejew, thanks.
Keep me posted!
Hey @Jakejew,
While you don't get an answer from Fiat, there's a common fix for this by unplugging and then replugging in Fuse 5 and Fuse 10 under the dashboard—this workaround have helped some users with this same issue.
I hope this is more helpful!
So it turns out Fiat haven't been updating their system for the car since 2016, so it's not compatible with any phone the Galaxy S6. Thanks for your help anyway
Hey @Jakejew,
That's not cool. Anyway, let me know if I can help you with anything else!
