Filter Playlist Not Working Properly

My Question or Issue

 When filtering a playlist (lets say, I want to find a single artist within that playlist), it works - it shows only the searched item. However when I play, if shuffle is on, it will ignore the filter and play anything from within the playlist after the first song finishes. I do not have this issue on my desktop.

I have deleted and reinstalled several times to no avail.
