[Free] Shuffle problems

Since I am using the free version of Spotify, I should now be able to stream playlists on shuffle only (except a handful of selected Spotify playlists) with the new version. However, whenever I click the "shuffle play" button, now the only choice for free users, the playlists start playing from the top down and not on shuffle.

Hey @FloDuc, welcome to the Community!

That's odd. Does the issue persist if you log out and log back into your account? If not, you can try a reinstall following the steps listed here.

Looks like it didn't work. However, I noticed that this is occuring only with one playlist. The other I play on shuffle work properly but this one https://open.spotify.com/user/1123873819/playlist/5HqKvRikCRjEIykuJhaaXW plays OK on my computer but from top to bottom on my Huawei P8 Lite. Very strange.
