Freezing/unresponsive navigating the app.

Over the last few updates spotify has become very frustrating to use.  The app seems to freeze or become unreponsive while just navigating play lists.  Even in offline mode trying to open a list that is made available offline can cause it to freeze.  Sometimes if left alone it will resume functionality other times I have to restart the phone or force close the app.  Once its playing a list it seems to work fine and this issue does not happen every time I try to use it but seems to be getting worse.   I have already uninstalled Spotify and cleared the cache re-downloaded all my offline lists.  I'm not sure what else to try at this point.  Spotify use to perform very well until the last few updates.

The device I am using is a Droid Razr M, NOT ROOTED running Android 4.12

Hi. Roughly how many offline tracks do you have and is the spotify cache on an external SD card?

Yes there is an SD card present and it is used for spotify storage.  I have 471 songs spread across two seperate play lists that are set to offline.
