Going online crashes my android client.

Solved!

Going online crashes my android client.

Had the most annoying bug the last two days. Whenever my phone connects to the internet my spotify client closes. I have been able to get the app to stay open on my Galaxy S2 by setting my phone to flight mode. But I am unable to connect and have the app stay open.

This has never been an issue prior to the last two days, and I've done no changes or alteration to my net or phone.

I have tried deleting the cache, uninstalling and reinstalling the app but to no avail.

Anyone had a similar problem and got any clues as to how the **** I resolve this issue?

If you're not already running it, then install the new beta release: https://www.spotify.com/se/blog/archives/2012/04/19/new-android-preview/

That has solved the majority of the crashing-to-launcher-when-going-online issues.

I'm having the exact same problem (HTC evo 3D).  Not sure why I should be paying for the premium access when I can't even use the app on my phone!  It also means that I cannot connect to my wifi to sync playlists...
