Google assistent intterupst when using headphones

Hey everyone,

Im not able to listen to Spotify anymore with headphones.

Whenever I play Spotify through headphones the Google Asisstant keeps popping up ready for me to ask a question . I can't listen to anything for more than a few seconds before it gets interrupted with the nagging robot voice.

I disabled the "OK Google" function, but now it's popping up saying it's "Your Google Assisstant is ready to help you get things done" with a button to turn on the function. 

It drives me absolutely insane. Im ready to stop Spotify all together and dig up my old mp3 player. 

Does anyone know how to fix this?
