How can I set radius for live events

Live events has my correct location but is showing me events hours away. How do I correct this?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome. 

You change the location for the Live events from the app by following the steps in this article. Just select the device you're doing it from and see the steps to Change location.

I just wanted to pop here and complete the info we gave you. You mentioned having the correct location set for the Live Events on the app. If that's the case and you only see events that are hours away, it's most likely because, at the moment, there are no shows registered on Spotify that are closer to your location.

However, if you'd like to have an option to set a more accurate radius that shows Live events around you, you can submit an idea, making sure you follow our Community guidelines.

I get notifications for live events in a city/country I don't live in anymore. How do I change that? i tried looking it up but the info seems outdated, the app doesn't show it on the search option anymore for example.

Hi Susan, is there a way to set up the Live Events Feed to "only" show events in your city?

I also run into the issue where I get email locations for events that are hours away. My city is correctly set, but I live in proximity to Vancouver and Seattle, which take up 90% of the shows emailed to me or show in the Live Events Feed. When I search through the app I have to go through many shows that don't apply to me to find the "needle in the haystack" for shows that play in my city, which is often a huge waste of time.

Is there any way to disable nearby cities and have live events only shown for the city you reside in?

I have loved from London to Newcastle but am still getting recommendations for gigs in London…how do I change my settings so that I get to see recommendations for Newcastle?
