How to stop Screen Time Out when in car dock?

My main use for Spotify on Android is in the car. The trouble is, the new app allows the screen to time-out...so I have to enter my PIN number to get back to the controls. Very dangerous with my driving!

I'm sure the old one didn't allow screen-time-outs...is there any way to make the new one stay "awake"?

Isn't there an Android setting for this ratherthan an app setting? There's definitely one for not locking when on charge
