I can't log in

I'm on my phone and trying to log in with my account, but every time I press "log in", it briefly changes to "logging in..." and then just turns back to "log in" button. No error message no nothing.  My password and username are totally correct. Please help.

Have you tried uninstalling and re-isntalling the app? If not, just try that first!

Are you using the official spotify app from Play store? Can you tell me the app version please.

I'm pretty sure it's the official app, but I am not that sure about the version, where

can I see it?

Nevermind, I found the version! I'm using 8.4.46.575 version Spotify.

What android version are you using and is your phone rooted?

I'm using Android 7.0 and my phone ISN'T rooted (or at least "Root Check" told me so).
