Interacting with Local Files on Android

I added my local files to spotify and then synced all of them with  with my android. (about 3000 songs worth). When I am mobile while I can add, listen to and sync local files. However, when I search I find the tracks but the albums are not listed.

For example If I search Led Zepplin it will list my Led Zepplin tracks in the search but not the albums. Is this working as designed or a flaw?

I'm pretty sure that is by design, you get the same behaviour in the desktop client with local files.
