Spotify stops playing music as soon as I leave the app or open another app. It plays normally while I’m actually in Spotify, but the moment I leave the app, playback stops.

This only started happening today. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue, particularly with the latest beta?

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

Just to confirm, does this happen when using the regular app? If so, we'd recommend changing your phone's battery settings to allow unrestricted background usage for the Spotify.

If this is only happening while using the Beta version of Spotify, the best way to go is sending the feedback to the relevant team via email. There is a feedback email address shown before you join the program. Please use that email address to report this behavior.
