Hi!
Since the last actualizations is Spotify on my Andorid device and PC working slow when trying to search a song or want to 'Explore' songs.
At first I tought it was my network but as I said it began to work slow on the search on both devices!
On my Android, for example, I'm listening music and begin to search and then it just keep searching and searching... but I'm still listening the music, so I think that's not network problem.
Here is an image.
Am I the only one with this problem?
Thanks!

Actually, this isn't the solution at all. Sorry.
I managed to somewhat fix the problem by clearing out the entire spotify data directory after uninstalling the app. I use an app called ES File Explorer, which detects when an app is unistalled and asks the user if they want to purge the app's data directory. Install ES File Explorer, uninstall Spotify, delete all the Spotyfy Data directory contents when prompted and then reinstall Spotify.
I'm guessing there were some remnants of previous versions in the folder which was causing issues.
After clearing out the folder my Spotify works just fine although I haven't tried making playlists offline again yet.
Hi There, search is running fine for me.
It may be your network; or possibly you may need to try a clean install. The guide linked below details how to get a clean install:

Hello and welcome to the communtiy! 🙂
well at my devices the search function works perfectly so i think this is a local problem at your devices ;). Have you already tryed disabling high quality streaming as well?
good luck!
Kind regards,

What is a Spotify Rock Star and how do i become one?
Im not a Spotify Employee.
I had the same problem after I set a bunch of playlists to be available offline. There were 1000+ songs synced to my phone and Spotify ran horribly. After I set the playlists to Undownload the performace was back to normal.
I'm using a Galaxy S4 running KitKat 4.4.4
