Issues sharing Spotify Canvas to Instagram Story

My Question or Issue

I'm having issues when sharing a song to instagram stories, it shows on the Spotify app but when I try to post it to my Instagram Story it doesn't show the canvas, only the artwork and the name of the song on a solid background. I've cleared the cache on both apps and have also uninstalled/installed both apps, the issue persists. I've attached a short video of the issue

So is this an intentional change? It doesn’t really make sense to limit a feature like that to the app.

I’m unclear from your reply if this is intentionally changed to no longer allow Spotify Canvas videos to be shared to instagram or if this is a temporary limited feature due to other changes interfering with it.

Hi, same problem here. 
I have an iPhone SE and I have updated / reinstalled both apps, but it hasn't helped. Canvas work on Spotify preview, but when I try to post them on my Instagram stories, they don't load and all you can see is the album cover on a solid background without motion. 
Please let us know what we have to do.

Signing out and back into Spotify fixed it for me.

Just bring back the canvas or the option to pick if u want canvas or solid backround on the instagram story 🙂

Yes, finally!! Sign out of your Spotify account and sign back in, this fixed the problem for me too!
