Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. 

Just to confirm, are you seeing any error message? If not, what exactly is happening when you try to join someone else's Jam session?

Also, do you notice the same behavior if you log out of your account, log in to another one (such as a friend's or a family member's) and try to join a Jam?

In addition to the above, you could also try performing a clean reinstall of the app to help remove any cache that might be causing trouble.
