Keeping getting logged out (on Android Marshmallow)

I just started using Spotify on Android and every day (sometimes every other day) it forces me to re-login which is a pain, but the dealbreaker is that it requires me to mark all the playlists I want offline and re-download.  There's a couple of other forum topics, but nothing that applied to my situation or worked.  I'm using a Spotify account not Facebook.  My account was created years ago, but just went to premium at the end of Thanksgiving if that matters.
