Kit Kat lock screen - LG G2

Hey!

I updated my Galaxy S4 to kitkat just before I dropped and smashed it. I became very attached to the boarderless cover art in the lock screen. Now after updating my LG G2 to Kit Kat I still have the "old" widget. Is there any way to activate the new one or something?

It's a feature of android 4.4 rather than something spotify does. On my Note 3, I find that using a third-party lockscreen such as go locker stops this working.
