Local Files Android

Hi

I've got some local files on my laptop which play absolutely fine in the desktop player. I've put them into a playlist and this is now viewable on my Android device. However, when I try and download this and make it offline on my Android mobile, I just get the message "waiting to download". So I can't play these files as they never seem to download.

Any ideas?
