My Question or Issue:

I seem to be having an issue where whenever I try to open my local (computer .mp3) playlist on my mobile phone, it crashes. I've gone through the steps of redownloading Spotify on both, using my cellular data instead of wifi, removing/adding .mp3s., but nothing seems to stop the crash. Any help would be appreciated.

A video of the incident and an image of the local playlist on my computer can be found here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/G1oQi7rmpbdyJ5Z57

Hey there @Appellus

Thanks for reaching out and for sending us the media.

Just to confirm, have you tried a clean reinstall of the Spotify app on your device? We recommend this step as it'll remove the old drivers first and then install the new ones. It'll also get you the latest version of Spotify. These changes tend to solve issues like the one you're experiencing. Give your device a quick restart as well before you open the newly installed app.

It's also a good idea to change the source of the local files on your device. Simply create a new folder in a different directory on your device and move your local files to this folder. Then just delete the old folder used for the local files. Now you can try importing the files again.

Hope this helps. Keep us posted.

Having done both the clean install and changed the directory, the issue still seems to be present. Like previously, it starts downloading the Local Files Playlist, but crashes the app after one or two downloads.
