Local files on Android

I can't dowload the songs on my phone from my local file on my computer. They are in a playlist and Spotify tells me to just download the playlist but nothing happens, it says it's downloaded but I can't listen to the song. What can I do?

Do all the local files in your playlist have the green arrow to indicate they have fully downloaded? What happens when you tap one of them to play it - do you get an error message? A screen capture of the playlist on your mobile might be helpful.
