Local files won't download on my OnePlus 3T

My Question or Issue

1. I turned on local files from pc.

2. Added them to a new playlist.

3. Tried to download that playlist on my phone

4. The files on my phone remain unavailable and show the "waiting to download" symbol.

I have tried everything to make it work. I made sure it was the same account, connected to the same wifi network, turned off proxy in the spotify app on pc, temporarily turned off firewall on my pc, uninstalled and reinstalled both apps on both devices. It still refuses to work. 

What can I do now..?

We suggest keeping the app updated to its latest version to ensure optimal performance. It's well worth running a clean reinstall by following these steps on your devices. This process is more thorough than the usual one.
