My Question or Issue

As stated above, I dislike the current style of lock screen cover art. The two screenshots illustrate how lackluster it is. One is Spotify while the other is some random music player I got on the google play store (Nyx).  
Is there any way to make the album art look like that or is there no feature like that yet?

Currently there is no way to change the design of the lock screen widget manually. Spotify constantly strives to improve the user experience with its features and the easiest way to achieve this is by regular app updates.
