Lost controls on Lock Screen after Android 8 update LG V30

I no longer have any controls for spotify on my lock screen after the update.  I can't play, pause, or fast forward any longer they don't even appear.  It is driving me nuts, if there isn't a fix soon I will restore to the previous version......any one else having this problem????

I'm having issues with the task bar shortcut where it won't update what is actually playing or respond at all to comands. The app itself seems to function fine but with this shortcut broken, it's quite annoying. My microphone/controller headphones won't register in the app either.
