Lyrics won't show due to "About the Artist" info showing instead

With the latest update, artist information takes the place of lyrics for some artists. Considering there already is a way to see artist information, but no other way to see lyrics, this chage doesn't seem like it was thought through.

If you scroll down the song page, song lyrics are now a tile at the bottom. Took me a minute to figure this out.

I have an iPhone and recently have not been able to see lyrics on my Spotify app…how temporary is this since your post on it was from nearly a year ago? So frustrating. I do not see this as an improvement. Please pass along to your team that we want the lyrics back.

Last night I could see the lyrics as I was specifically creating a V playlist for my daughter’s birthday with sins that HAD lyrics. This morning I wake up to show her, and EVERY song is now missing lyrics. Nothing. My wife on the other hand can still see lyrics, for all these songs. Exact same phone and OS, iPhones…

We pay for a premium family account.

Bring it to SM. Make Tiktok reels about it. The Spotify mods quit caring about posts in this treat a long while ago, and if they answer it's just **bleep**. Go on SM with this, out pressure on them

BookerE1 is wrong. Reread the question. The Lyrics used to be there for songs, that NOW say, "LeArN aBoUt ThE aRtIsT". This the point, the lyrics USED to be there, they are not anymore. It is not a case of, they don't have the lyrics for that song" (the lyrics for the songs are ai generated. It's not like someone has to manually add lyrics to ALL the songs.

Way to communicate updates to your users Spotify. Way too expensive for such garbage features and customization.

It’s halfway through 2025, and I still have to search google for the song lyrics instead of on the app, Spotify, why do you suck? Not too mention the songs that do have lyrics that appear, how do you make such blatant mistakes with them?
